The BIG day is fast approaching and we are encouraged and grateful for all of the donations that have been coming in every day! It is easier than ever to donate, too! You can now send your donation through PayPal by directing your donation to firstname.lastname@example.org or simply by clicking the donate button on the right hand side of the YSES PTA website. (Also, you can send your sponsorship requests to your email list.)
Don’t forget: You are encouraged to come cheer on your favorite “racers!” While you are here, we could use your help! Please visit the Volunteer!tab at the top of the page and sign up if you are able to lend a hand picking up race day items or with tasks that are needed on race day. There are many opportunities and the kids love to see the grown-ups in their lives lending a hand! Every little bit helps and we look forward to seeing you next Thursday at the race!
Can you believe it’s November already?!?! That means it is time for Parent/Teacher Conferences and the PTA sponsored Staff Dinner. They have created a Sign-up for the items needed. Please take a minute to check it out
and see if there is something you could contribute.

Thank you to Dani Gurrie for all of her help with this year’s directory! Check it out for yourself. The best part? This was all done at no cost and can you imagine all the trees that were saved by publishing it online instead of in paper form? This is pretty amazing!
Remember: You must be registered with the site and signed in order to view the directory. The link can be found on the right side of the page near the top of the column.
(Note: If you see something in your listing that needs a correction, please let us know by the end of this week.)
There are two options for our mandatory volunteer training this year. You may attend the face-to-face training at YSES from 9:00-9:30 AM on October 2, 2015 or you may complete the on-line training at home.
Watch the PowerPoint and then print out the confidentiality form, sign it and send to school with your child. You will be able to find the PowerPoint and confidentiality form on the YSES Website on the front page. Once this process is complete, you are welcome to chaperone and volunteer at YSES. Thank you!
